Choice Nitpicks from the artist: Yes, you know this was going to happen from me, the queen of self criticism. I still am happy with the way this turned out but I see quite a few issues. For one the dirt trail (kinda like poo color) from sabre's butt needs to go. The weird gyrating circles on the back mountains need to stop gyrating. The color of sabre's spots ...hmm brown or black. I kinda like brown now after :iconthylacosmilus:'s AWESOME picture of sabre! <3 And the rabbit's right foot is longer. Also Sabre's left foreleg's line is not filled in all the way in one spot. There's lots more like the weird grass growing on the stone but I could go on like this forever.

5-6 hours editing time and extremely happy with the way this turned out.

This is more or less the quality of the printed comic. While I would love to make this better I think I have to space my time out and be realistic with the overall time spent.

Sabre Narrating:
I am a descendant of a long generation of cat called the felidae, bastardized by the common as felidi. We are sentients of our kind and managed to retain an ancient language, intellect, and culture. My mother was one of the most steadfast of this clan, insisting on following the old traditions of peace over bloodshed. She chose me to follow in her stead hoping that the slaughter of the innocents would someday stop. But to say I can faithfully lead my brainless brethren is a lie of epic proportions.

Like them I crave and savor a good carnal slaughter. Unlike them I have the means to stop myself, yet remain active. I stalk until the deafening heartbeat of hunger overwhelms me. Chase until empathy becomes trodden under and forgotten. And grip until the death throes grow still and silent. Only when the sharp tang of victory seeps through my fangs, does the bittersweet blessing of intellect come to me. It is then I question my actions and my existence. That I have been given this "gift" for reasons my mother had so valiantly fought for. But when the sweetness of blood retakes my consciousness, I realize the truth. That while I could blame my form, my memories, or my mother for being so stupidly blind, in truth I feel…no I am a carnivore.

Your background looks beautiful, and I love how you captured the essence of the figures' motions with a simple undefined sketch. Given colours and a tiny bit more definition to the background figures I would call it finished. Stunning work and I hope to see the completed piece! (:

Thank you Raven! It also reminds me that I also have the gargantuan task of fleshing out my other characters as well. I want this to be a multi-faceted story that includes characters every person can root for.

I so wish I had more time, patience and talent to hack out something more detailed. But as is one hour was the amount I got allotted before going to bed.

I am so glad people want to see this done though. In my own vacuum I have hundreds of these images that are lying on my drive that I'm like "eh whatever". But when I post it online and there's this spark of interest, it makes me feel inspired.

So thanks again shootin :D Really got inspired seeing these comments.
