Initially I thought of updating with replies, notes, and just to post un-commentable art, but I decided, nah. People will complain about anything including the "authenticity of my leaving" and I will spend even more time being negative, which is not healthy. I paid for the 3 month subscription but decided to take a loss at the gain of being happy and upbeat.

Despite this, it was not an easy decision to make as I really like the cool people here. There were people who shared my opinion, people who didn't but knew how to read, and there were people who were just as sarcastic as myself! But honestly we all loved the idea of freedom of expression, differences of opinion, and people who knew how to take critique. I loved some of the original comments to my male hot dogs post. They were awesome.

But what ruined it all was the emo. The everyone has to agree with me OR ELSE emo. Recent dA changes and historical ones have made me feel they encourage ass kissing on DDs and just in general any art piece they favor because of this emo.

This makes me feel I won't be happy with this site anymore as it's the trend to fawn over pieces of art and KILL ANYONE who has anythign REMOTELY critical to say about the art. OMG. the horror!

But on that note, my comment complemented the original deviation. So I'm not sure what it is really when it's not even a criticism at the art or the movement as a whole.

So when people can't even take NON-criticism, and they can't separate the gripe from their own emo feelings, and absolutely refuse to reach a compromise that's when I realize, hey, if I can't beat them join them.

I too shall refuse to compromise, say toodles and throw my hands up in the air at disgust.

But the actual truth is, I left because I'd much rather spend my days drawing than re-explaining to people what my gripe is for the 20th time (which is enabling SPECIFIC maturity filters people. SPECIFIC. I don't want to see dog crap or dead animals or photography of gaping wounds, but I don't want the entire dA to be filled with My little ponies either)

So I don't have opinions about artistic nudity and if it makes the main page. I could care less. I just care when people all up in arms and throw a bandwagon fit over my request to enable specific maturity filters. I tried to reason but I'm now of the if you can't beat them join them philosophy so I'm in no mood to be convinced, swayed to the "other side" and engage in debate that will just lead to "OMG You're WRONG".

I'm tired of being called immature and to grow up when it's those people who should instead.

There is no other nor better side to me. Get over it. I don't like watching nekkid people but I don't like filtering out the entirety of dA. If that bothers you so, go to the corner and sulk while having a cookie.

I'm the one that has to leave, dA is on YOUR side so what else do you want?
